Hi there, I'm Travis Groth, and my lifelong love for monster trucks has led me down an amazing path. As a kid, I spent countless weekends attending monster truck shows, dreaming of one day becoming a competitor myself. And in 2010, my twin brother Tyler and I built our very first race truck, taking our first big step towards that dream. But before that, I attended Wyotech to learn all about chassis construction and high-performance engines - two crucial areas for any serious monster truck driver. I then spent several years crewing for different teams, soaking up as much knowledge as I could about the industry and its inner workings. My first chance to drive came in 2010, when Tyler and I split driving duties for our first truck on the weekends. But we quickly realized that we needed a second truck if we wanted to really compete against each other. And so, we got to work building our second truck, which opened up a whole new world of opportunities for us. Since then, I've had the honor of competing against some of the best drivers in the world at events like the Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas. And I've had some pretty big wins along the way, including taking home the overall event championship at the Monster Jam show in Lexington, KY, and the Alaska State Fair Championship. Nowadays, our team has grown to include four trucks, which means even more excitement and thrills for our fans all across the country. But when I'm not tinkering on trucks or tearing up the track, I love nothing more than cruising around Laramie on my E-bike with my kids. It's a great way to unwind and enjoy some quality time with the family.
